WHY IS MY PRINTER CONNECTED BUT NOT PRINTING?
A software setting or the Ink option in the printer driver may be changed to Black instead of Color if the printer only prints in black. Additionally, the print head nozzles may be blocked. Running a head cleaning operation and printing a nozzle check pattern from the Utility section of the Epson printer driver will clean the print heads. If the user may ask why is my printer not printing black, the user must follow the following steps:
·
Open the printer
cartridge to inspect the nozzle.
·
The cartridge for
the Epson printer contains a screw that must be unscrewed to reach the
cartridge.
·
The cartridge's
nozzle head was clogged with ink, preventing the ink from flowing, therefore
removing the pipe print initiation.
Follow
the directions and thoroughly clean the printer head to avoid printer damage.
Check the ink levels in each tank before turning on the printer and opening the
output tray. After that, a couple of quick cleanings above the bottom line
should clear the printer head.

these steps may solve why is not my printer printing.
